By their participation in Raedthuys & Partners, Dutch investors become owners of a sustainable energy project. The yield on the investment consists for a large part of a tax benefit obtained in the year in which the investment is made. Another part of the yield comes from the results of exploitation and sales.

The investor can calculate the tax benefit into his other income from work and housing. Here, just as with mortgage interest tax relief, the following applies: the net tax rebate is higher if the participant falls under the higher income tax bracket. This means that an investment is interesting for participants who are subject to taxation on their income from work and home. A condition is, of course, that they have a taxable income of a particular sort (known in the Netherlands as ‘box 1’).
