Green certificatesAs manufacturer, government body or some other kind of major consumer of electricity, you can green your own electricity consumption by purchasing green certificates. You thus show that you guarantee the quantity of sustainable electricity mentioned on the certificate. The issue of guarantees of origin (production certificates) is done by means of a green declaration approved of by the company managing the network. If the sustainable electricity is obtained from solar, wind, wave or tidal energy the guarantees are adjusted. For sustainable electricity obtained from biomass the periodic information is submitted. |
