Overview of wind energy projects
The Netherlands has seen the development of a great number of wind turbine projects. These are found mainly in the provinces of Flevoland, Friesland, Groningen, Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and Zeeland. Raedthuys Windenergie has had a share in them.
To give you an impression of the wind energy projects realised and planned by Raedthuys Windenergie you can go to this part of the website. The data you find there give you an impression of the energy production of the projects, the location, the type of turbines and the amount of CO2 emission saved by the wind park.
In the overview below, the latest projects realised are at the top of the list:

De Griete Wind Park |
De Griete Wind Park The De Griete wind park started operation in 2007 with 2 modern 800 kW Enercon turbines. Previously, for years two wind turbines of approximately the same size had been producing their sustainable kilowatt-hours at exactly the same locations. Application of state-of-the-art technology increased the energy production by no less than 50%.
Annual production: 3,677,000 kWh, equivalent to the energy consumption of 1,080 households | Local authority | Terneuzen | | Wind turbine | Enercon - E48 - 800 kW | | Number of wind turbines | 2 | | Installed capacity | 1,6 MW | | Rotor axis height | 50 metres | | Rotor diameter | 48 metres |

Distridam wind park |
Distridam wind park Distridam wind park was built in 2007 at a top-class location. On the North Sea Dike the wind power is excellent –and thus also the energy production. Robust 2.5 MW Nordex wind turbines were chosen to stand up to the strong winds.
Annual production: 16,315,000 kWh, equivalent to the energy consumption of 4,800 households | Local authority | Rotterdam | | Wind turbine | Nordex - N80 - 2,5 MW | Number of wind turbines
| 2 | | Installed capacity | 5 MW | | Rotor axis height | 80 metres | | Rotor diameter | 80 metres |

Distripark wind park |
Distripark wind parkDistripark wind park was built in 2006 and is a real eye-catcher at this location along the busy A12 motorway. The turbines are the first in the Windplan Midden Holland. Thanks to the Waddinxveen local council, where sustainability is high on the agenda, the procedures required before construction went relatively quickly.
Annual production: 18,173,000 kWh, equivalent to the energy consumption of 5,300 households | Local authority | Waddinxveen | | Wind turbine | Vestas - V90 - 3 MW | Number of wind turbines
| 3 | | Installed capacity | 9 MW | | Rotor axis height | 75 metres | | Rotor diameter | 90 metres |

Dintelhaven wind park |
Dintelhaven wind parkThe Dintelhaven wind park was completed by the end of 2005. In 2008 the four Vestassen V90s, with their 105-metre rotor axis height are still the tallest wind turbines in the Netherlands. On an industrial estate such as the Rotterdam docks it is always a question of measuring things accurately because of the presence of many other activities that have to be taken into account. This is why the foundations were laid half on the shore and half in the water. Annual production: 33.303.000 kWh, equivalent to the energy consumption of 9,800 households | Local authority | Rotterdam | | Wind turbine | Vestas - V90 - 3 MW | Number of wind turbines
| 4 | | Installed capacity | 12 MW | | Rotor axis height | 105 metres | | Rotor diameter | 90 metres |

Hondtocht wind park |
Hondtocht wind park The Hondtocht wind park has been running since 2002 and is one of the projects in the successful wind energy policy of the Dronten local authority. The positioning in lines along the wind direction behind the agricultural areas is considered rather fine by very many people.
Annual production: 24,671,000 kWh, equivalent to the energy consumption of 7,260 households Local authority
| Dronten | | Wind turbine | Vestas - V66 - 1,75 MW | | Number of wind turbines | 8 | | Installed capacity | 14,75 MW | | Rotor axis height | 67 metres | | Rotor diameter | 66 metres |
