In 1995, together with its subsidiary Groenraedt, Raedthuys was a pioneer in the realisation of wind energy projects in the Netherlands. Since the Raedthuys turbines gained a place in the landscape, the company has shown strong growth. Since its founding Raedthuys has built up a great deal of expertise in the fields of planning development, acquisition of permits and project development. Already Raedthuys Windenergie (formerly Groenraedt) has created approximately 80 MW in installed capacity, 30 MW in preparation and a development portfolio of more than 250 MW. This makes Raedthuys one of the field’s main players in the Netherlands.
